Fly now, pay later

Secure your seats with a deposit and spread the rest before you travel. No added fees from us, and the fare is locked the moment you pay.

Locks today's fare

The reason to do it. Fares move — usually upward as the date approaches. A deposit fixes the price you saw, not the price it becomes.

Deposits from £50pp

The exact deposit depends on the airline and how close you are to departure. We tell you the figure before you commit to anything.

No fees from us

You pay the fare, split up. We do not add interest or a service charge for paying in instalments.

How it works

Four steps, and a person on the phone for all of them.

1

Find your flight

Search here or tell us where you want to go. We confirm the fare is live.

2

Pay a deposit

From £50 per person. Your seats are held and the price is fixed.

3

Pay the balance

In instalments that suit you, up to the airline's ticketing deadline.

4

Tickets issued

Once the balance clears, your e-tickets are issued and emailed.

What to know before you do it

The balance deadline is set by the airline, not by us

Every held booking has a ticketing deadline. Miss it and the airline can cancel the reservation and release your seats — and your deposit is normally non-refundable. We will tell you the deadline when you pay the deposit, and remind you before it arrives, but the date is not negotiable.

Deposits are non-refundable

A deposit buys you a held fare. If you change your mind, that is generally not refundable, because we have committed to the airline on your behalf. If there is any chance the trip will not happen, wait or buy travel insurance with cancellation cover from the day you book.

The price can still change in one situation

Government taxes and airline-imposed surcharges can move even on a held booking. That is set out in section 5 of our booking conditions. In practice it is rare and small; we mention it because finding out afterwards is worse.

This is not credit

Paying a deposit and settling the balance before you travel is a payment arrangement, not a loan. There is no credit agreement, no interest, no credit check and nothing recorded against your credit file. Equally, there is no lender standing behind it — if you cannot pay the balance, you lose the deposit rather than owing a debt.

Who this suits

  • Booking well ahead. The further out, the more you save by fixing the fare early.
  • Big family trips. Four or five fares at once is a lot in one go; a deposit makes it manageable.
  • Peak dates. Christmas, Eid, summer school holidays — the dates where waiting genuinely costs you money.

How to arrange it

Call 020 4621 8999 and say you would like to pay a deposit. There is no application and no form — we will confirm the deposit amount, the balance and the deadline on the call, and email it to you in writing.
