You stay in a riad inside the medina rather than a hotel in the new town — courtyard, plunge pool, breakfast on the roof, and the souks on your doorstep. It is quieter than it sounds; riads face inwards.
Atlas Mountains and Essaouira are day trips. Say so when you enquire and we will book a driver rather than leave you to the tour desks.
